Help with viewing tracks

I started using OruxMaps today & it is the best mapping package I have used so far. I created an offline map using Mobac and downloaded it to my HTC. I only have one problem, when recording a track I can't see it on the map. I know it is recording from the stats & also after uploading to Map My Tracks where I can view the whole route on a map

Can you help please ?

What am I doing wrong ?

adjust something :-)
you did not tell which version your using, so find gps items
minimal time
Minimal distance
Accuracy for position fix.
set these things to (recommended) , then adjust from there.
adjustments that might help in your particular situation.
Minimal time 1
Minimal distance 10-20 meter
Acuracy 100 meter

once you get it going, then you will start seeing, and you will then know how to do your own adjustments.
right now we need to set it so it would view the fastest.

then check your "track width" and track colors , just in case that has something to do with it.

only other thing i can think of is something is going wrong with overlaying on the specific device :-( try another version.

what happens when you load a track that is stored, or a imported track?
does the stretchy line with measuring show up?
is the curser showing up?

I have tried everything you suggested:

I am running version Orux v3.4.2 on an HTC using Android version 2.2.1

I have set all the GPS settings to recommended - it still did not show the track. I changed the track colour & width, same issue. I then changed the GPS settings but it still does not work.

Once again I have uploaded it to Map My Tracks and I can see the route on the map correctly on the PC.

Can you please recommend other settings that I need to use

You can see the map in the map viewer? what happens if you open the map?

Hi, Martin; the map is correct;

Open your map, then menu--tracks; then select your track, 'open as route'.

Can you see the route in the map? If not, use 'goto' button, to go to starting point of the route.

Thanks for the great app.
But:
I have the same Problem after updating to 4.0.1
I cant see tracks in Oruxmaps (nether in "realtime" nor when I try to load a track), but it shows ok in Google Earth.
(samsung I5800, froyo)

Hi;

how do you load the track? Directly from gpx/kml file or you import previously the track to oruxmaps database?
