OruxMapsDesktop does not work

I click on the file "OruxMapsDesktop.bat" in Windows Explorer, there is a DOS window that opens half a second, and nothing more. Do you have the same problem as me?.
The may 25, I create maps without problems, nowadays it does not work.
Do you have a solution? Thank you ...

It seems that there is a problem with your java machine.

open a console (terminal) In windows--> 'Start'-->Execute-->cmd

then, in the console:

java -version

what do you see?

It seems that java is right;

download again OruxMapsDesktop; uncompress the zip, do not change the content of the OruxMapsDesktop folder, do not uncompress .jar file. Try again.

if still problems, try to execute, using the command line (navigate previously to OruxMapsDesktop directory):

java -jar OruxMapsDesktop.jar

do you have java installed? if yes:

1 - Uninstall java from the manager of programs.
2 - Install the latest version of Java from www.java.com
3 - you prove to run .bat file (OruxMapsDesktop.bat) and if it opens and closes without doing anything, it's probably because it does not acknowledge the order of the bat "java" then you must edit the PATH environment variable.
4 - Right click on "Computer" on the desktop -> properties -> config. Advanced System -> Advanced -> Environment Variables -> System Variables
5 - Select "path" and edit
6 - you put the path to the java executable in my case was C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin. Careful not to delete anything you have written and separate the value with ';'
7 - Save and ready.
