Show current GPS position

First of all: I know it becomes more and more difficult to integrate this massive functionality into a simple and intuitive GUI.
What I am looking f or quite a long time is a button, which centers me the current GPS position. After reading the manual I found it finally:
Map-Button / Move to: Current GPS pos.

First I thought the button between + and - ist the one doing this. Maybe this button can get this functionality by holding this button (instead of just pressing it) in future. Or maybe even the other way araound: pressing centers GPS, hold set back the scaling.

Select the track button on the top menu bar (the wiggly arrow) then 'start GPS', 1st button on the left, this will start the GPS and centre the map showing your position.

Yepp, thats the initial center. But if you are scrolling around (which you often have to do on a small screen), then going back is a few (3) clicks ahead.
I was wondering why it is not possible with one (Or I didn't find it). Maybe I am using it in another way than other people but this seems to me a function wich is heavy used.
This was just to give a feedback for the developers.

By default if you scroll the map it should return to your position after a pre-set time (autoScroll delay).

You can add the GPS button to one of the side menus?

Good observation. I guses the button between + and - may be used to center on map when GPS is off and to go to current GPS position when GPS is on.
