Max map download size of 256mb

I tried to download a map on my phone using this app but it would not let me download it because it said the file was too large. Is there anyway the max download size can be increased to 1 gig or more? Or is there a setting that I need to change on the app? I really like this app and use it all the time. I would not mind paying for this ability to be able to download bigger maps.

To download maps as large or larger is better to use a desktop tool, are much more reliable.

MOBAC allows you to download the same maps that OruxMaps.

But MOBAC does not support the download from google maps, which Orux (still) does. Is it a problem of traffic or what? Anything that may be solved with a paid version?
