I like the new design.
On a short bike tour everything worked perfect.

settings with the values in red is nice too !
On a big tablet screen 10", the 3D view is somewhat limited,
I'll try to explain, I can't see far in 3D view, only the close scenery is rendered, in the distance is just a blue sky. I suppose the rendering is CPU intensive, but maybe a threshold can be tune by users ?
