Beta 3.3.5

My favorite features are trackback, auto export of trax to GPX, and folders for maps. Unlike some posters here, I've had no problem reading the green font--and prefer it to the earlier version because I can see more maps. Trackback works great--thank you so much for taking my suggestion. I do notice that the estimated distance back via the route is slightly less than the track distance--but not enough to matter. That seems the case whether I use Trackback or just load the track as a route and reverse it. Keep up the good work!

I'm getting the same discrepancy in 3.3.6. For example, on a hike today, the track showed 5.53 miles, wile Tools/Backtrack showed 5.12. Smaller distances seem to have smaller discrepancies.

Will do. The issue is comparatively minor, but more than happy to test the new version later this week.

With 3.3.8, I'm still getting a slight difference between a track and the Backtrack. 1.73 for the track. 1.60 for the Backtrack.

the difference is because of the recalculation of the distance. Till last version, including 3.4, the track is stored in memory, with the coordinates rounded, in order to save memory. But I am thinking in returning to real values, because the last version (3.4) manages in a different way the images, saving a lot of memory.

In practice, the difference between the two numbers is minor. But in terms of perception, new users may be (unnecessarily) concerned about the app's precision.
