Is it possible to show your current location on the 3-D map?
It would be really cool and give you a better sense of your surroundings.

You can obtain a similar feature just using shaded and coloured maps like Opencyclemap... yes, it's not really the same thing, but it helps!

I just gave Opencyclemap a try, but it's not even close...
