RunwayFinder is Back
RunwayFinder.com is back online, so maybe that will be a new source for current charts once they've been updated?

Re: US VFR / IFR Charts...
Why do they no longer work? I was using the VFR maps before. What changed?

The web site from where we were downloading the tiles does not allow OruxMaps to download tiles.

Option for VFR
Since we can't get online VFR maps at the moment, I want to let everyone know my process for defeating this evil issue.
The FAA freely distributes raster maps of sectional charts. They can be found
I downloaded the map, OruxMapsDesktop, and used Qgis to convert my map since I was having issues with the tiff images. I changed the converted file with the .pngw extention to .pgw and all worked fine with OruxMapsDesktop.
If you need detailed instructions, just email me at joshuajayg @ gmail.com

Another Option
@orux
If no IFR charts are available, can you update to use the VFR charts on this site:
aeromaps.us/Sectional_Map_Viewers.html
It has an option for OpenLayers Interface and GoogleMaps Interface. I used to use the VFR charts you had all the time.
Thanks so much

Nice Upgrade
The beta is a nice upgrade! I like the new top icons, the artificial horizon, and the Pseudo 3D. I'm using this app on an Asus Transformer Honeycomb tablet, and it looks incredible.
Great program. Thank you for your hard work.
