Max Speed Discrepancies in Statistics Empty Max Speed Discrepancies in Statistics

When I pull up a route and view the statistics of that route I am noticing that the max speed on the main statistics page and the max speed under the 'sections' drop down are different. In this case the max speed is 9.8 mph and it took place during the first mile. Am I missing something?
