Beta 5.0.X: kml data cover whole map
Hi Orux,
this is not an error, more a question of usability.
While testing the kml layer I couldn't see the map anymore, when showing the map in low zoom levels, because the text/name of the many POIs covered the map. No problem on high zoom level, where not so many POIs exist. To see the map and navigate/scroll in the low zoom level the number of displayed text/names should be reduced.
What do you think about these suggestions:
- show on zoom level x (and lower) no POI text/name and only the icon. Having x as config option.
- having a fast accessable function to switch on/of the POI text/name
- automatically switch off the POI text/name when the text covers more then x% of the map.
By the way, is the size of the POI text/name part of the config (or xml)?
If you need my test data let me know.
Thanks for the great work,
Ben

Hi, Ben;
thanks;
I will work with your suggestions.
The size of the wpts text can be configured in settings--user interface--tracks
