Batch OruxMapsDesktop 2.04beta fails on second file in batch
First file in a batch works. Regardless of settings (multiLayer or no, SQLite or no, JPG or PNG) the second and following files in the batch fail.
Files found:120
OK---->C:\GPSMapEdit\MapSource\SanCarlosCombo2_00_00.map!!!
Failed:C:\GPSMapEdit\MapSource\SanCarlosCombo2_00_01.map!!!
Failed:C:\GPSMapEdit\MapSource\SanCarlosCombo2_00_02.map!!!
I start with GPSMapEdit for an area of about the size of a city plus outlying areas. I export to OziExplorer at 70 meters zoom (same problem with 100 meter zoom) and with 10 columns by 12 rows of tiles. Note that OziExplorer can read and display each of the map tiles used as input to OruxMapsDesktop.
The problem is NOT virtual memory. I have increased the memory to the Java Virtual Machine to 1024M. AND there is NO exception thrown.

Batch fails after first file
I have the same problem, a batch conversion fails after the second file:
Files found:8
OK---->C:\Users\Mark\Documents\GPS Maps\schweiz\GR\sch20.108.057.map!!!
Failed:C:\Users\Mark\Documents\GPS Maps\schweiz\GR\sch20.108.060.map!!!
Failed:C:\Users\Mark\Documents\GPS Maps\schweiz\GR\sch20.111.051.map!!!
Failed:C:\Users\Mark\Documents\GPS Maps\schweiz\GR\sch20.111.060.map!!!
Failed:C:\Users\Mark\Documents\GPS Maps\schweiz\GR\sch20.114.051.map!!!
Failed:C:\Users\Mark\Documents\GPS Maps\schweiz\GR\sch20.114.060.map!!!
Failed:C:\Users\Mark\Documents\GPS Maps\schweiz\GR\sch20.117.051.map!!!
Failed:C:\Users\Mark\Documents\GPS Maps\schweiz\GR\sch20.117.060.map Mapa no calibrado!!!
The files themselves are OK as I can convert any of the files individually, and it doesn't matter which file is first in the batch, it always says OK for first file and Failed for the others.
Please advise.

Re: Batch OruxMapsDesktop 2.04beta fails on second file in batch
I think I see what the problem is.
Each of the .map calibration files specifies the same Title - I changed this (to Title1 / Title2 etc) and the conversion works OK.
HOWEVER, I end up with a different DB for each tile.
I was hoping that the conversion would combine all the map tiles into one db. Is this not possible?
And does this mean I have to combine the tiles into one image before I can convert it for OruxMaps?

Hi;
You are right; all the maps have the same name: Graubunden.
OruxMapsDesktop can not merge maps.
You can create one map from some maps using Global mapper, or ozi merge tool.
Then you can use OruxMapsDesktop.

Re: Batch OruxMapsDesktop 2.04beta fails on second file in batch
Ah, OK.
I need to reconsider my options. I don't really want to have to combine the maps as the projection and calibration won't really work properly.
