Usage of vector files in Orux Maps...

Getting a smartphone, I didn´t realize there was an app like OruxMaps that could act as my backup chart plotter when sailing..it is fantastic!
However, using online sea charts is not very reliable as I may be out of range from any base station. Is there any way I can use my charts which are in .kap format?
